~ WE GIVE ADORATION & CONFESSION TO GOD ~

Prayer of Adoration

Prayer of Confession (Unison)

Out of the depths we cry to you, Father. With you is forgiveness. We abuse the planet. We discriminate against one another. Not trusting in you, we declare all dead. We are quick to complain and lament the present age, believing that human evil is greater than your love. You bring us to life now, but we fail to see how. We choose the flesh-way over the Spirit-way. For the sake of the one who calls us, forgive us. We wait for you, LORD. We wait for your mercy. Let it be, God – let it be.  Amen.

Words of Assurance

~ WE LISTEN FOR GOD’S WORD ~

Prayer for Illumination

Sermon: “ (Part 2)” (Ezekiel 37:1-22)

Affirmation of Faith – “The Apostle’s Creed” (Unison)

Almighty God, we do not deserve the Promised Land; we deserve endless exile. We say that money does not buy happiness but then live as if money is the chief source of happiness. We are quick to be haughty, thinking ourselves better than others. The poor starve while we supersize our snacks. We place some money in a plate or jar and tell ourselves we’ve done our part to fight poverty. We are inconsistent stewards when it comes to what you have entrusted to us. By the blood of Jesus, the Steward-Master, forgive us. Please. Amen.
